The Interregional Centre for Knowledge and Educational Studies focuses on culture-driven innovation, cultural brokerage and cultural commercialization. This is being realized via an active research program, as well as via the active training of young scholars, and a variety of activities connected with cultural-driven innovation involving other universities, museums, cultural institutions and private business. The research centre organizes conference and workshops on cultural aspects on all academic levels.

The designated leader is Morten Karnøe Søndergaard. The project manager is Ole Rokkjær.
